At Epworth Memorial Wesleyan Church, our desire is simple:

to be a place where people can grow in faith, experience genuine community, and discover the transforming love of Christ.

 

John Wesley once wrote:

 

“The gospel of Christ knows of no religion but social; no holiness but social holiness. Faith working by love is the whole of religion.”

 

In other words, true faith is never lived alone—it is expressed through love for God and love for our neighbor.

 

At Epworth, this is our highest calling.

 

Jesus said,

 

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

(John 14:15)

 

The Christian life is not simply about trying harder to overcome darkness.

It is about learning to walk in the light.

 

When we draw near to God—who is Himself light—our hearts begin to change.

Love grows.

Faith deepens.

And the darkness that once held us begins to fade.

 

Our prayer is that Epworth would be a place where you encounter that light, grow in your relationship with Christ, and discover a community that walks together in faith and love.
